Ghost Stitching and Finishing:

I have been asked this question several times : if I will ghost stitch and then finish a certain project. So I thought I would place a general statement here.

If you are interested in a service like this please contact me with the pattern you wish stitched that includes: a picture (or link) to the project, size of the finished project and stitch count. Tell me how you want it finished and I will decide based on this information if I can stitch and finish for you and what the cost shall be.

Finishing for the Blackbird Stockings Series....

Each stocking finished as instructions in the booklets are given by Barb and Alma of Blackbird Designs. Fusible interfacing ironed to inside of stocking, seams pressed and whip stitched by hand with coordinating thread that is complimentary to linen color. Hanger as customer desires - jute, bailing twine or beads.

Finishing: cost per stocking: $15.00

Flatfold *B*

A new way to "jazz" up a regular old flatfold. This Flatfold, I've created a double mount front, with some lovely coordinating cording, side bows is what holds the back and front of the flatfold into an "easel" formation and cute accents for "footers". A lovely twist to a finishing favorite!

Wall Hangings

Have a piece that you would like made into a "Wall Hanging"? Well drop me a line and we'll have a chat! I can piece fabric for you around stitched item to give it a little depth and frame the stitching, then I mount it onto acid Free Mounting Board and create a Hanger (either *visible* (as above) or *invisible* like a regular photo/picture you hang on the wall) A very economical way of creating a hung picture with out the expense of framing. Custom Orders - general quote given at time of contact - depends on size, amount of piecing wanted, and embellishments used.

Scissors Pockets

Scissors Pocket Finishing Service

Whatever the shape of scissors pocket you'd like finished, I can finish it to your specifications!

Needlebook

Pricing:
Needlebooks either tied with a ribbon for closure or cording/button for closure. Includes lining and "needle nest" on interior, batting between layers. Or I can also make a "hard" Needlebook using acid free mat board. Depending on the construction and size Needlebooks pricing shall be ranged: $20.00 - $40.00. Biscornu

Pricing: Biscornu are finished by hand-sewing. Because of the intensive amount of handwork, the finishing costs are more than other finishes, but don't let that put you off because these finishes can be some of the most dramatic beautiful finishes ever!

Stitched pieces must be symmetrical and of a smaller size - usually no larger than 80 x 80 stitches. Prices will range from $25.00 - $50.00 based on size and edge finishing (straight stitching or beaded). Corner embellishments: Tassels, ribbons, can all be added and will be reflected in the price.

Pin Pillows

Little pillows filled with poly-pellets for weight and tassels on the 4 corners. Easily sit on the arm of your stitching chair and perfect to stick that stray needle!

up to 5" inches total size (basic square w/ 1 fabric frame) = $20.00
6" to 8" inches total size (basic square w/ 1 fabric frame) = $25.00

Basket Lid Finishing Service

Baskets Pricing:

1. You have the basket with the lid already attached and you want a stitched piece mounted: $20.00
2. Stiched piece made into a basket lid (I provide basket, make lid and mount stitched piece): Cost of Basket + finishing price [basket: up to 12 inches = $30.00 (finishing price)] [basket: >12 inches = $40.00]
3. Lining a basket - sewed and glued into the inside rim of the basket (see below on the Snowman Round Basket): $10.00 (up to 12 inch basket); $15.00 (over 12 inch basket)
4. Can make tie on lid or "hinged" lid as shown in the two pictures below - depending on basket type

Stitcher's Tin - Altoid Tin Sized - Stitching needs to be 3 1/2 inches X 2 1/4 inches.

• Stitching mounted on top using lacing method and acid free mat board
• Braiding/Cording/Ribbon embellishing top and bottom of tin (as shown)
• Inside Scissors pocket for your scissors to be kept (scissor must be 3 inches long or shorter to fit)
• Magnetized lid for keeping your needles

Scissor Fob Finishing Service

All scissors fobs shall be put together as follows:

• Hand-sewn together or machine sewn - customers choice (this depends on if there will be beading or not as well)


• Hand-twisted cording; complimentary color


• Filled with polypellets for weight and a penny added for good luck


• Edged with cording or seed beads of complimentary color if wanted

Prices: $15.00 for plan fob no embellishments. $20 for cording edged fob. $25 for bead edged fob no matter what size.

Wooden Box Finishing Service

**Box prices will vary according to style and size. I have various types/styles of wooden boxes with various dimensions. E-mail me with the dimensions of your piece and we can find a box that is right for you!**

All stitching mounted boxes will be finished using the following methods:

• Stitched piece mounted onto acid free mat board
• Coordinating fabric (either chosen by myself or customer) will line top and inside of the box as shown in the picture below
• Coordinating braiding/cording shall be used (glue shall be used when appropriate)
• Stitch piece shall be mounted onto box by the use of glue

Custom Mounting Services Available: You have the box, I can mount your stitched piece onto it!

PRICES: Pricing Quotes available...you send me the dimensions (width/length) of your stitched item, and I will work up a quote for you. General Pricing shall be:

1. Mounting a stitched piece onto the top of a box: $20.00 OR mounting a piece of fabric and then mounting stitched piece on top of that: $25.00
2. Price of Box: most are $10.00 that I purchase
3. Lining Box Bottom: $10.00 OR both top and bottom: $15.00

Embellishments: adding a needle nest, etc will add to basic price cost.

Shipping: Will be the responsibility of the customer and will be added to the finishing price based on size and weight of the individual box. All items shipped via USPS priority with insurance up to $100.

Pinkeep Finishing Service

All of my pinkeeps are finished by:

• Stitched piece mounted to acid free mat board.
• Using coordinating material for mounting the back of the pinkeep also mounted on acid free mat board
• Using coordinating pearl-headed pins around the outside edge of the pinkeep
• Cording, braiding, ribbons used for edges of pinkeep
• Ribbon topped or plain topped based on customer's preference
• The two pieces of the pinkeep are hand-sewn together
• Glue is used in most constructions techniques, but this is white craft glue and will not be visible upon completion. Used SPARINGLY!

up to 5 inches: $20.00
6 to 8 inches: $23.00
8 to 10 inches: $26.00
